From the Gzdoom factory settings the following changes should be enacted under the Options sub-menus: under Mouse Options enable Always Mouselook and set Overall Sensitivity at a minimum. Under Joystick options enable Controller Support. And under Customize Controls bind functions Weapon Reload, Dual Wield, Activate Equipment, Toggle Equipment, Quick Melee and a Flashlight to the keyboard keys R, Z, X, C, V and F respectively.
